In March 2009 I started writing on a blog ideas that came to mind. At the time I was working on my Masters of Arts in Teaching and several issues discussed in class carried on to my social conversations and my private thoughts. The space of my blog, http://carolinamatthews.com , was where I expressed myself.
As I finished my MAT and began working on a cookbook geared toward preschool children, that space was taken over by my new endeavor. However, other issues kept arising and demanding an outing, and I felt it would be confusing to have both interests in the same place.
I finally decided to begin a new website so I could clearly communicate ideas related to the book in their specific area, leaving my personal blog for those other reflections.
While carolinamatthews plays with thoughts and ideas, prescook plays with food and describes a journey.
In the end, there is an important connection between these blogs, as they both represent who I am quite faithfully.
